The team at Bandaj Namco has officially revealed that Hwang — the fan-favourite Korean swordsman who's been an integral part of the long-running series since 1995 — will also be playable in 2018's SoulCalibur VI.
That's absolutely right — Hwang is the last DLC character included with the game's Season Pass 2, which is currently priced at $33.99. Once you purchase the Pass, you will also be able to duke it out as Setsuka, Hilde, and Haohmaru. It also features some all-new music tracks, 25 tunes from SCIV, and also 28 tracks from SCV.
According to the Japanese publisher, Hwang will make his debut in SoulCalibur VI on the 2nd of December.
Unfortunately for fans of the 2D fighting game, chances are that the upcoming expansion for SoulCalibur VI will also be its last official content drop, as Bandai has not shared any plans to make a Season Pass 3 yet.
