Ubisoft India's PRINCE OF PERSIA - THE SANDS OF TIME REMAKE Has Been Delayed to March 2021
Prince of Persia - The Sands of Time Remake was supposed to hit store shelves on January 21, but it's no longer the case, as Ubisoft India Studios' biggest project to date will now make its debut on March 18, 2021.
That's right, the publisher has decided to give the teams at Ubisoft Mumbai and Ubisoft Pune more time to further polish their original take on one of the best-reviewed video games Ubisoft Montreal has ever made.
Considering that the game's reveal trailer — which aired during the most recent Ubisoft Forward event — was met with a generally cold reception, it's good to know that the French studio is willing to listen to fans' feedback and (presumably) fix those ugly 3D models, rough animations, and a complete lack of shadows.
Prince of Persia - The Sands of Time Remake may have been pushed back, but Ubisoft is still not planning to create a dedicated next-gen port of the title (at least officially); with the remake arriving only on Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC. Thankfully, you will be able to play it on your PS5 and XS via backwards compatibility.
With Prince of Persia - The Sands of Time Remake facing a moderate 2-month delay, Ubisoft Annecy's Riders Republic becomes the company's next major release. The unique sports game is coming out on February 25.
