Cracow-based video game developer and publisher MS Games is ramping up the Land of War: The Beginning marketing campaign, as the crew has shared the official music video for THRIC3's It’s a Land of War, the Polish rapper's original song for the game. The video combines live-action footage with in-game gameplay.
To bring their vision to life, MS Games teamed-up with the Polish re-enactment group SRH Bateria Motorowa Artylerii Przeciwlotniczej, which allowed the studio to film historically accurate uniforms and equipment.
"In collaboration with artists, we managed to prepare a dynamic and modern song that talks about the war zone," MS Games Head of Production Mateusz Stabryła said. "The song itself aims to bring the ideas of Land of War to a wider range of people thanks to a modernist approach to editing and creation. The combination of live-action shots with in-game gameplay has an interesting, intertwining effect."
It's probably worth remembering that this historical first-person shooter will make its long-awaited debut in Q2 2021 — after a series of delays — which means that Land of War - The Beginning will finally be arriving on PC (via Steam) at some point between the beginning of April and end of June.
Without further ado, take a closer look at the official music video for THRIC3's It’s a Land of War down below:
