Midgar Never Looked Better in New FINAL FANTASY VII REMAKE INTERGRADE Screenshots

Following the big Final Fantasy VII Remake Intergrade presentation at February's State of Play event, Square Enix has shared 4 fresh screenshots for the remaster of the remake, giving us a chance to marvel at the stark beauty of Midgar once again. Said never-before-seen screenshots were captured on PlayStation 5.

For those unfamiliar with Final Fantasy VII Remake Intergrade, it's a next-gen version of last year's hit RPG that will arrive on PlayStation 5 on June 10, 2021. The cutting-edge edition of Final Fantasy VII Remake will introduce a plethora of major graphical improvements — including some unique visual features in 4K with HDR support — and original story beats, such as a new episode starring the beloved ninja Yuffie Kisaragi.

If you've already purchased your own copy of Final Fantasy VII Remake on PS4, you will be able to enjoy all the new improvements on your PS5 at no additional cost (via a free update). Sadly, the patch won't include both Kisaragi-focused chapters, which will be available as a paid expansion (presumably on June 10 as well).

Although the production's timed exclusivity will reportedly expire on April 10, 2021 — a full year after its original release — Square Enix hasn't shared any plans to bring Final Fantasy VII Remake to PC and Xbox yet.
