PHANTOM DOCTRINE Studio Is Developing Multiplatform Game Based on ONCE UPON A TIME... LIFE

Polish video game developer and publisher CreativeForge Games and French animation studio Procidis have joined forces to produce a new educational game based on the beloved Once upon a Time... Life animated series. The game itself will be developed by CreativeForge's newly formed subsidiary SlavGames.

Although the Once upon a Time... Life video game is in the very early stages of development, the Warsaw-based company is hoping to release the unique title in 2023. SlavGames' debut project will be available on Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series S/X, and also PC.

For those unfamiliar with Once upon a Time... Life, it's a 26-episode animated series about the inner workings of the body. The first episode of every young biologist's favourite TV series made its debut back in 1987.

CreativeForge Games — the award-winning creators of Ancient Space, Hard West, and Phantom Doctrine — has had a rough couple of years — caused mostly by their espionage extravaganza's underwhelming sales performance — but it seems that the studio is slowly getting back on the right track. The team is currently producing several promising video games — including the NiOh-inspired Ronin: Samurai Redemption.

Those who'd like to learn more about the human body can always watch Once upon a Time... Life on Netflix.
