Android Version of POKÉMON GO–Like THE WITCHER: MONSTER SLAYER Is Now Available in Australia

CD Projekt has some good news for fans of AR video games, as the Android edition of The Witcher: Monster Slayer has officially made its debut in Australia — and is now available in the entire region of Oceania at no additional cost. The original title's dedicated App Store version was published there back in February.

You read that right, the long-awaited Android port's testing stages have finally come to an end in the Land Down Under, which means that players from Australia can enjoy the free-to-play project set in The Witcher universe right now (although the game's page on Google Play is currently offline for unknown reasons).

The iOS and Android versions of The Witcher: Monster Slayer are also available in New Zealand, Philippines, Malaysia, Singapore, and Russia. The Pokémon Go–like title is expected to arrive in Europe and the US "soon."

The Witcher: Monster Slayer is an augmented reality experience that allows you to channel your inner Witcher and hunt down various creatures — inspired by Andrzej Sapkowski's books — invading your neighbourhood.

Said unique production is being developed by Warsaw-based Spokko, part of the CD Projekt Capital Group.
